Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the newest Android platform, was
released mid-October 2011. For the first time, it allows the user to
take quick and easy screenshots. If you have an older version, there is
no "official" way to take a screenshot. However, the "older versions"
method listed below has worked for some users . If it doesn't work for you, try taking a picture of your screen with a camera or another phone, or use an android emulator and take screenshots from your computer
Steps
1.Navigate to the screen or image you want to capture.
2.Press the volume down button. At the same time, press the power button. Hold until you see a screen shrink into a little frame. A notification bar will also appear explaining that the screenshot has been taken.
3.Go to the Gallery. There should be a special screenshot album where your screenshot will be saved.
